On Friday, June 14th, BHS celebrated the class of 2024 as they graduated from high school. The ceremony was held at St. Anselm University and included the recognition of an outstanding group of students. Read below for an article from the Concord Monitor about this class!

A Note from the Principal

Good afternoon BHS students and families,

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Congratulations to our baseball team who won the Division II State Championship yesterday with a decisive 13-3 victory! It was a great game in which there were key contributions from many different players. While they suffered a tough 6-4 loss yesterday in their championship, congratulations to our boys lacrosse team on an outstanding season.

We’ve reached the end of the school year with this being our last week of the school year. Classes will be having their culminating events all week with Friday being an Early Release Day and a Recovery Day. While any student can come in on Friday to address any remaining school work (similar to a Targeted Flex Day), students who fail classes will receive an email on Thursday evening asking them to come in on the Recovery Day on Friday.

At the request of the BHS Food Services team, we will be utilizing our Single Lunch Bell Schedule all week.

This week also marks Senior Week. Seniors have the following events this week.

Monday, June 10th - Senior Cruise - Boston Harbor - Depart from BHS at 3:30 pm

Tuesday, June 11th - Spring Athletic Awards and BBQ - BHS Back Patio and Auditorium - 5:00 pm

Wednesday, June 12th - Senior Class Trip to Six Flags - Agawan, MA - Depart BHS at 8:00 am

Thursday, June 13th - Senior BBS and Graduation Rehearsal - BHS Back Patio and Gym - 11:00 am

Friday, June 14th - Graduation Rehearsal - Sullivan Arena at St. Anselm’s College - Manchester - 9:00 am

Friday, June 14th - Graduation for the BHS Class of 2024 - Sullivan Arena at St. Anselm’s College - Manchester - 4:00 pm

The Town of Bow Drinking Water Protection Committee has asked us to send out the following message:

Home water testing for Lead, Arsenic, bacteria and other important parameters is available through the Bow Drinking Water Protection Committee and the State of NH Public Health Lab. Please email the committee your name and address to have a sample kit mailed to you with sampling and drop off instructions. Emails can be sent to Bowdrinkingwater@bownh.gov. Costs are $15 for lead, $20 radon or $105 for the full panel including arsenic.

Lastly, this week’s BHS at a Glance marks my last one before I move on to my next adventure in Litchfield. I would like to thank the Bow and Dunbarton communities for their support over the past seven years. My time at BHS has been filled with wonderful memories that I will cherish forever. It has truly been an honor to be the principal of Bow High School and I wish everyone the best.

The 27th Annual Falcons Booster Club Golf Tournament will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 9:00 am at Beaver Meadow (1 Beaver Meadow Drive, Concord, NH 03301).

Below you will find the senior portrait information for next year's yearbook. Please remember that your yearbook portraits are not the same as your school ID photos. Portraits for the year book must be taken by Tim McGrath Photography and require an appointment. The basic yearbook sitting is free of charge.
