Alicia Rockenhauser is an active educator and performer throughout New England. She has been the music director at Bow High School since 2019 where she directs concert band, concert choir, jazz band, and select choir as well as a variety of elective music courses. Alicia was named "Outstanding Young Band Director" of 2018 by the New Hampshire Band Director's association, an honor she shares with BMS Band Director Matt Davis! She has adjudicated and acted as a clinician for area festivals and teaches lessons for a studio of private oboe students. Since 2010 Alicia has played principal oboe for the New Hampshire Philharmonic, SNHU Wind Symphony, and Nevers' 2nd Regiment Band. She graduated from Ithaca College in 2009 where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in oboe performance and music education.

Kelsey Berthiaume (Theatre Director) hails originally from Douglas, MA. Kelsey found her love for theatre at a very young age. While her passions were ignited by her on-stage appearances, her love for theatre only amplified when she began her journeys backstage. Kelsey began exploring the various areas of theatre while pursuing a BA in Theatre and Music at Plymouth State University. Kelsey has traveled up and down the East Coast, working with such organizations as the Connecticut Repertory Theatre at UCONN, the Virginia Stage Company in VA, the Brevard Music Center in NC, and The Smithsonian Folklife Festival in DC. In addition, Kelsey has been employed with The Capital Center for the Arts, Majestic Theatre, Windham Actors Guild, TS Events, The Educational Theatre Collaborative, the Silver Center for the Arts, and The Palace Theatre in New Hampshire. Kelsey also currently serves as the Business Coordinator at Peacock Players and continues to perform, paint, design, direct, and technical direct all over New Hampshire.

Dan Ciccarello is a music educator and violinist. In additon to teaching String Orchestra at BHS, Dan teaches chorus, string ensemble, and general music at Bow Memorial School. Originally from Chester NH, Dan graduated from Keene State College in 2014 with a degree in Music Education. While he was there, he performed in numerous orchestras, vocal ensembles, and even formed a string trio and played music for many weddings in the area. Before arriving to Bow, Dan spent 3 years teaching in the lakes region at Newfound Memorial Middle School in Bristol. In addition to teaching, Dan plays violin and guitar in numerous performing groups including the Keene Chamber Orchestra, the Lakes Region Symphony, and various pit orchestras around the state. When he's not in the classroom or onstage, you can usually find Dan outside hiking or skiing.

Band is open to any student who plays a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument. Students will work to develop and refine their technical and musical skills, and will play a wide variety of band literature. Performances include school and community events throughout the year and attendance is required at all scheduled performances. Students must be a member of Concert Band to participate in and/or audition for Jazz or Classical All State music festivals. Students are expected to have a minimum of one year of experience playing a band instrument to participate in the ensemble.
This course is open to any student interested in participating in a vocal ensemble and developing their vocal technique. Students will sing from a variety of vocal literature, while developing and refining technical and musical skills. Performances include school and community events throughout the year and attendance is required for all scheduled events. No previous singing experience is necessary for participating in Concert Choir.
This course is open by audition only to vocalists who are currently enrolled in Concert Choir. This ensemble is for vocalists who are interested in performing more complex repertoire in a chamber choir setting. Repertoire will be selected from traditional choral literature, acapella music and vocal jazz. Performances include school and community events throughout the year and attendance is required at all scheduled performances. Select Choir will meet on Wednesdays during Flextime and students will receive ½ credit for being a member of the ensemble for the entire year.
This course is open by audition only to saxophonists, trombonists, trumpet players, and rhythm section players (piano, bass, guitar, and drum set). This is an ensemble for serious, advanced musicians who are interested in playing Big Band jazz, with a focus on swing, ballads, Latin, and funk. Performances include school and community events throughout the year and attendance is required at all scheduled performances. Jazz Ensemble will meet on Wednesday evenings from 8-9pm and students will receive ½ credit for being a member of the ensemble for the entire year.
**This course is open to any student who plays a string instrument (violin, viola, cello or string bass). Students will play a wide variety of string orchestra literature as they develop and refine their technical and musical skills. Performances include school and community events throughout the year and attendance is required at all scheduled performances. Students must be a member of String Orchestra to audition for the Classical All State Orchestra. Students are expected to have previous string instrument experience to participate in the ensemble. **
Tri-M is the national music honors society for high school students.
Tri-M performs community service such as caroling at senior living facilities and organizes activities such as coffee house recitals where students can perform.
